Itinerary
At the Luxor Airport or Railway Station, Cairo's Top Tours representative will greet you and provide assistance. You will be transferred to your Nile Cruise by an air-conditioned car to begin your Egypt day trips on MS Mirage Nile Cruise. Check-in at the Nile Cruise before the afternoon. After lunch on board, guests will go on a special excursion to the Luxor East Bank to explore the Luxor Temples, which is a magnificent complex of ancient Egyptian temples located on the east bank of the Nile River in Luxor, Egypt. You will also see the Karnak Temple You will return to the cruise for supper. The Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple is an optional excursion.
Spend the night in Luxor.
Meals: Lunch and dinner.
Start your day with a delicious breakfast on the boat, then enjoy an amazing hot air balloon ride over Luxor in the early morning (optional), before being escorted by our tour guide on one of the most thrilling Egypt Day Tours in Luxor. Discover the West Bank of Luxor. Your tour guide will accompany you to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (El-Deir El-Bahari Temple), continue to the Valley of the Kings and Colossi of Memnon (visit only the three tombs), and then sail to Edfu via Esna Lock. Dinner, afternoon tea, and lunch are all included in the price of your tour.

Continue your voyage to Aswan, take part in the Egyptian Galabya celebration, and eat dinner on the cruise. Start your tour at Kom Ombo temple The southern half of the temple is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, who was associated with the Nile and its fertility. Sobek was also a protector god, and the temple includes an enclosure that was once home to live sacred crocodiles. Visitors can still see the ancient crocodile mummies that were discovered in the vicinity of the temple. Edfu is one of the most well-preserved and impressive temples in Egypt. It was constructed during the Ptolemaic period (around 237 to 57 BC) and is dedicated to the god Horus, who is one of the most important deities in ancient Egyptian mythology, and lets your inner explorer loose. You will explore the Temple of Horus in Edfu, have lunch on board, and then start to sail to Kom Ombo. There, you will explore the Temple of Harris and Sobek in Kom Ombo.

After a sumptuous breakfast is served on board your cruise, you can embark on an excursion to the Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam They started to build this dam in 1960 and was completed in 1970, making it a relatively modern feat of engineering. The primary purposes of the dam were to control the annual flooding of the Nile River, provide a stable water supply for irrigation and agriculture, and generate hydroelectric power. You will explore the Temple of Philae, which is home to the god Isis and Hathor. Dinner is served onboard your Egypt Nile River Cruise after a Felucca ride on the Nile around Kitchener Island in the afternoon.

We will say our goodbyes to the MS Mirage Egypt Nile River Cruise following a sumptuous breakfast on board. After leaving the Nile Cruise, a representative from Cairo Top Tours will transfer you to the Aswan Airport or Railway Station, where you can board your flight or take the train.
